Payment Policy

At Derrick Denture & Implant Centre, we believe that paying for your denture treatment should not feel like you are experiencing tooth loss again. We strive to make your payments as comfortable and accommodating as possible.

After discussing your denture needs and options our Edmonton Denturists will present you with a treatment plan. If you consent to proceed with your treatment plan, we will require a 50% deposit due at the start of your second appointment. (However, if you will require immediate dentures the deposit is due at the end of the first appointment.) The full payment is due upon completion of treatment.

We accept cash, credit, cheque and interact payments. Financing options are available to qualified applicants. APPLY NOW.

For Patients with Dental Insurance:

As a courtesy, Derrick Denture & Implant Centre will accept payment directly from your Primary Insurance Company for your treatment when the following conditions are met:

  • The insurance provider has an agreement with the Denturist Association of Canada to provide electronic claim services with our office.
  • An insurance pre-authorization/pre-determination has been completed.
  • Uninsured balances are paid in full on the day the treatment is completed.
  • If, after 30 days, your dental insurance provider has not responded with payment, you are personally required to provide full payment of your account.
  • Due to complications that have occurred, we will only directly bill Secondary Insurance under specific circumstances

For patients with Primary Insurance providers that we are unable to direct bill, the complete payment less the deposit is due when the treatment is completed. When the payment is received from the patient, we will complete a mail-in insurance form on behalf of the patient to submit to their insurance company for personal reimbursement.

Although we will do our best to assist our patients with the insurance claim, we are limited in the information we can access, and it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to understand their insurance plan.

Derrick Denture & Implant Centre follows the fee guide recommended by the College of Alberta Denturists.

For patients with or without Dental Insurance – Financing options:

We know that the cost of proper denture treatment can be financially burdensome. We have teamed up with iFinance/Dentalcard Canada to provide financing options to patients in our office. Through iFinance/Dentalcard Canada, patients who are approved for financing will be able to pay for part of or the entire amount of treatment over a period of time. APPLY NOW.
